To receive your access to the US-SPD you must identify yourself: an institutional e-mail address and affiliation is required or your account will not be approved for access. After you have submitted this form, an administrator at the US-SPD will activate your account. Further, you must agree to the terms provided in our data policy which call upon all users to support the underlying principles of the US-SPD that facilitate the sharing for genetic sequence data while recognizing the contributions and interests of the submitting Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories and other users.

1) You must acknowledge the US-SPD and Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratories;
2) You may not attach any restrictions on the data that you have collected through the US-SPD (e.g., a patent application derived from sequence data obtained through the database);
3) You may not distribute unpublished US-SPD data outside of the user community. If you wish to do so, you must contact the US-SPD or the originating diagnostic laboratory.
